Common use of Unconventional Work Clause in Contracts

Unconventional Work. The parties recognize that from time to time it is necessary to engage employees for unique and specialized work that is measured not by the hours worked, but by the product or services to be delivered. This work cannot be measured through established job evaluation procedures. The employer will advise the union of the position title, amount of contract and length of appointment on a monthly list. If the union does not agree it may make the matter a subject of the grievance procedure.
