Union Activity on Company Premises. (a) The Union, or employees acting as its officers or agents, may conduct Union activities, including solicitation of members and distribution of Union literature, on Company premises with notification to local management. Solicitation shall be permitted on Company premises when both the employees performing the solicitation and the employees to whom the solicitation is directed are on non- work time (such as lunch periods, relief periods and before or after an employee's work time). Distribution of Union literature may take place only in areas where no work is performed and on the employee's non-work time. Union activities shall not be conducted in a manner which will interfere with the operations of the business or with Company facilities. (b) Union representatives or members who are not employees may enter upon Company premises after obtaining approval from a management representative of the Company. To avoid the need to obtain such approval each time a Union representative or member who is not an employee of the Company wishes to enter upon any Company premises, the Company's Director of Labor Relations may, upon application by the Union, grant approval for all Company locations designated in the approval for a stated period of time.
