Common use of Union and Company Grievances Clause in Contracts

Union and Company Grievances. A grievance of the UNION or the COMPANY involving any question as to the interpretation, application, administration or alleged violation of this Appendix shall be in writing signed by the aggrieved Party and may be processed starting at Step 3 and the Parties shall meet within ten (10) days from the date of the letter, excluding Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Failing resolution, within ten (10) days from the date the grievance was received at Step 3, it may be sent by either Party to Step 4 – Arbitration following the final Step 3 meeting.
