Common use of Union and Corporation Communications Clause in Contracts

Union and Corporation Communications. The Corporation and the Union agree that copies of all correspondence between the parties related to matters covered by the Agreement shall mutually be sent to the Manager, Employee Relations and the President of the Union or their respective designates. The Union will be provided with a copy of any written correspondence issued to an employee which expresses an opinion respecting the interpretation of this Collective Agreement as it applies to that employee. The parties further agree that the use of e-mail and fax correspondence and regular type written correspondence shall be considered proper and acceptable means of communications for all matters contained in this Agreement including grievances.
