Common use of Union Dues Form Clause in Contracts

Union Dues Form. Employees hired into classifications represented by the Union shall, as a condition of employment at the time of employment, complete a Union Dues Authorization Card provided by the Union and shall have deducted from their paychecks the membership dues of the Union. Said employees shall have thirty (30) days from the date of hire to decide if they do not want to become a member of the Union. Such decision, not to become a member of the Union, must be made in writing to the Auditor-Controller with a copy to the Labor Relations Division within said thirty
