UNION RECOGNITION AND JURISDICTION. 3.01 The University recognizes the Union as the sole collective bargaining agent and the only authorized representative for purposes of application and administration of this collective agreement for all employees included in the bargaining unit. 3.02 The tasks usually performed by employees covered by the collective agreement cannot be regularly performed by people outside the bargaining unit as defined by the letter of certification. 3.03 In order to be valid, all agreements subsequent to the signature of the collective agreement among one, several or all of the employees and the University, that modify the collective agreement, must receive the written approval of the Union. 3.04 The collective agreement applies to all employees covered by the letter of certification issued by the ministère du Travail to the Syndicat des employé(e)s de soutien de l’Université Concordia – Secteur Technique (CSN) Concordia University Union of Support Staff - Technical Sector (CSN).
