Union Release Time Bank. In the July pay period of each year, the prescribed vacation and annual leave rates will be reduced for each CSLEA member by no more than two (2) hours. As designated by CSLEA, the CSLEA President and one (1) other Unit 7 employee shall be granted full release time under this provision. CSLEA is authorized to immediately use the Release Time for up to three (3) union officials even though it might place the time bank into a deficit. However, any deficit must be made up no later than twelve (12) months from the date of the first credit to the bank. While there is a deficit, only three (3) union officials can be released. Once the deficit has been corrected, the union is not limited to how many union officials can be released.
