Union-Sponsored Training Programs. The County will provide the Union a maximum of one-hundred eighty (180) hours per year of release time for union designated stewards and/or officers to attend union-sponsored training programs. Requests for release time are required to be provided in writing to the Department and the County Human Resources Department at least fifteen (15) calendar days in advance of the time requested. Department Heads, or designee, will reasonably consider each request and notify the affected employee whether such request is approved within seven (7) calendar days of receipt of the request.
Union-Sponsored Training Programs. The Chief Union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and/or Union Stewards will be provided up to ten (10) hours unpaid time off per contract year to attend Union sponsored training programs, following at least thirty (30) calendar days notice to the Employer.
