Common use of Unit Assignment Resolution Clause in Contracts

Unit Assignment Resolution. 3. For any classifications assigned to bargaining units represented by Local 21 as a result of the settlement of the unit assignment dispute between the City, Local 21 and MEA, the City agrees to meet and confer with Local 21 over subjects within the scope of bargaining and covered by Charter Section A8.409. Any issues that are not resolved through the meet and confer process shall be resolved through arbitration. Any economic benefits shall be implemented at the start of the succeeding fiscal year.
