UNIT MEMBER PARTICIPATION. An Equity Committee shall have the responsibility to review work load complaints and to recommend solutions to work load problems. a. The committee shall consist of two (2) unit members and two (2) administrators. The unit members shall be appointed by the Association and the administrators by the District. b. If the unit member believes the inequity is not resolved after the meeting with the principal, then he/she must submit a written statement describing the work load inequity to the principal and the parties shall attempt to reach a solution at the building level. If a solution is reached within ten (10) days, the process ends there. c. If the solution of the principal continues to be unacceptable to the unit member, the unit member can submit a statement of the inequity to the Director of Human Resources and the President of the Association and to the Equity Committee. d. The Equity Committee will be selected according to Section 12.14.1.a to investigate the problem and recommend a solution to the Superintendent. e. The Superintendent shall make the final decision.
