Unpaid Holidays or Days for Reason of Faith or Conscience. Up to two (2) unpaid holidays per calendar year for a reason of faith or conscience, or an organized activity conducted under the auspices of a religious denomination, church or religious organization will be granted under the following conditions:

  • Unpaid Holidays for a Reason of Faith or Conscience Leave without pay will be granted for a reason of faith or conscience for up to two (2) workdays per calendar year as provided below.

  • Compensation for default by the Authority Subject to the provisions of Clause 31.5, in the event of the Authority being in material default or breach of this Agreement at any time after the Appointed Date, it shall pay to the Concessionaire by way of compensation, all direct costs suffered or incurred by the Concessionaire as a consequence of such material default or breach within 30 (thirty) days of receipt of the demand supported by necessary particulars thereof; provided that no such compensation shall be payable for any material breach or default in respect of which Damages have been expressly specified in this Agreement. For the avoidance of doubt, compensation payable may include interest payments on debt, O&M Expenses, any increase in capital costs on account of inflation and all other costs directly attributable to such material breach or default but shall not include loss of Fee revenues, debt repayment obligations or other consequential losses, and for determining such compensation, information contained in the Financial Package and the Financial Model may be relied upon to the extent it is relevant.

  • Claims for Additional Time § 14.1.6.1 If the Design-Builder intends to make a Claim for an increase in the Contract Time, written notice as provided herein shall be given. The Design-Builder’s Claim shall include an estimate of cost and of probable effect of delay on progress of the Work. In the case of a continuing delay, only one Claim is necessary.

  • Administrative Remedy for Agreement Interpretation Should any question arise as to the meaning and intent of this Agreement, the question shall, prior to any other action or resort to any other legal remedy, be referred to Purchasing who shall decide the true meaning and intent of the Agreement.

Upon loading at the timber sale area, a log load shall be directly hauled to an approved scaling location, if required to be scaled.   • NOTICE TO EMPLOYEES REGARDING THE SAFELY SURRENDERED BABY LAW The Contractor shall notify and provide to its employees, and shall require each Subcontractor to notify and provide to its employees, a fact sheet regarding the Safely Surrendered Baby Law, its implementation in Los Angeles County, and where and how to safely surrender a baby. The fact sheet is set forth in Exhibit I of this Contract and is also available on the Internet at xxx.xxxxxxxxxx.xxx for printing purposes.

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling on Scheduled Days Off 1. When a holiday falls on a full-time employee's regularly scheduled day off, the employee shall receive eight (8) hours of compensatory time.
