Common use of Unpaid Work Exchange Clause in Contracts

Unpaid Work Exchange. Each Xxxx will maintain a pre-approved agreed upon substitute list. Faculty members may request an exchange in writing. The request form (Appendix C) must have the signatures of both parties. It is agreed that the exchange is on an hour-for-hour basis and will be completed before the end of the following semester. A faculty member may participate in no more than four (4) unpaid exchanges during any academic year. Unpaid faculty exchanges will not affect regular compensation or leaves as described in Article XXIX, Leaves.
