Common use of Unscheduled Transit Service Delays Clause in Contracts

Unscheduled Transit Service Delays. Where Operators utilize the transit system to effect a relief or a report (including travel time) and an unscheduled transit service delay occurs, resulting in the Operators being unable to make the relief or report, they shall not be subject to loss of pay or to any disciplinary action or documentation. The Operators will take all steps available to them to notify Transit Communications of their delay at the earliest opportunity.
