UPGRADING COURSES. 19.1 It is the intention of the Employer to encourage employees to undertake upgrading courses and self development in order to prepare them for potential promotion.

UPGRADING COURSES. Where employees are required by the Employer to take courses to upgrade or acquire new employment qualifications, the Employer shall pay the full cost associated with the courses. It is agreed that education is a shared responsibility between the Hospital and the employees. As such, employees who are requested by the Hospital to attend short courses, workshops or seminars during their regularly scheduled work day shall not suffer a loss of wages. Furthermore, if it is scheduled outside their regularly scheduled work day, they shall be compensated at straight time.
UPGRADING COURSES. All employees required or selected by the Board to take additional upgrading courses shall be paid for all time spent taking such courses, plus compensation for any other expenses incurred while taking such courses.
UPGRADING COURSES. 13.01 Where upgrading courses are required by the Employer for employee development, the payment of normal basic hourly rate, travel time, expenses, tuition and course material shall be paid as referenced in the Employer policy.

  • Dewatering 4.7.1 Where a part of a site is affected by surface water following a period of rain, thus rendering some areas unsafe for productive work, consistent with the Employer’s obligations under the OH&S Act, all non- trades employees shall assist in ‘dewatering’ their own work site or area if it is so affected. Such work to be paid at single time rates. Productive work will continue in areas not so affected.

  • Project Monitoring The Developer shall provide regular status reports to the NYISO in accordance with the monitoring requirements set forth in the Development Schedule, the Public Policy Transmission Planning Process Manual and Attachment Y of the OATT.

  • Upgrades If this copy of the Software is an upgrade from an earlier version of the Software, it is provided to you on a license exchange basis.   • Self Scheduling The Home and the Union may agree to implement a self-scheduling process. Self-scheduling is the mechanism by which employees in a Home create their own work schedules. The purpose of self scheduling is to improve job satisfaction and quality of work life for the participating employees. Self scheduling requires a collaboration of employees and management to ensure proper coverage of the Home and to meet the provisions of the Collective Agreement. It is agreed that self scheduling will be negotiated locally by the Home and the Union and will include a trial period. Each Home must have the majority agreement of the full-time and part-time employees who vote on the issue to agree on a trial period of up to six months. Once the trial period is complete, each Home must have a minimum of 66⅔% agreement of the full-time and part-time employees who vote on the issue to continue with the new schedule on a permanent basis.

  • System Monitoring to ensure safe and continuous operation, the Customer must monitor key services and resource use as recommended by Deswik, and provide Deswik with details of monitoring and any relevant alerts as needed. Services to be monitors include, without limitation, disk space, CPU usage, memory usage, database connectivity, and network utilization.
