Use of Equipment. The equipment, spares and consumables imported for petroleum operations under this Contract shall not be used or deployed by the Contractor for any purpose other than the performance of the Work. In the event that the equipment, spares or consumables are used or deployed for any purpose other than Vol-II Contract & GCC the performance of the Work, the Contractor shall be liable for all additional duty, fines or penalties imposed or other actions taken by the customs department or any relevant authority.
