Common use of USE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES FOR MEETINGS Clause in Contracts

USE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES FOR MEETINGS. All duly constituted teacher organizations shall have the right to use school facilities for meetings so long as such use does not interfere with regularly scheduled school activities. Each teacher organization shall be allowed one (1) day per month for meetings, with teachers released from their buildings immediately after the close of the student contact day. Additional meetings shall be authorized with the consent of the Superintendent. The organization president shall be responsible for submitting a list of the year's regularly scheduled meetings to the Superintendent during the first month of each school year. Use of the facilities shall be without charge to the organization, except that the use of the facility must be cleared with the building principal and any additional cost to the District as a result of such use shall be paid by the organization involved.
