Common use of Use of Sick Leave for Pregnancy Clause in Contracts

Use of Sick Leave for Pregnancy. If the reason for the leave is occasioned by pregnancy, a teacher may utilize sick leave pursuant to the sick leave provisions of this Article during a period of physical disability. A pregnant teacher will also provide at the time of the leave application, a statement from their licensed physician indicating the expected date of delivery (See Section 1 Subd. 5a of this Article for use of sick leave by a teacher (other than the mother) in connection with the birth of their child).
