Vacation Deferral of Illness - Sick Pay Entitlement. If an employee becomes confined to his or her home or in the hospital due to a serious illness or injury while on vacation, the employee shall be entitled to be paid from accumulated sick leave credits to a maximum of ten (10) days or eightyeighty (80) hours and the balance of the employee’s paid vacation shall be rescheduled to a time mutually agreed to by the Company and the employee, after the employee’s return to work. To enact this provision the employee may be required to provide a doctor’s note confirming such confinement.
