Common use of Vacation Eligibility Clause in Contracts

Vacation Eligibility. In order to be eligible for full vacation leave benefits on their anniversary date, an employee must have worked a total of at least two thousand eighty (2080) hours during the preceding twelve (12) months. Employees who fail to work the required number of hours shall be entitled to prorated vacation leave based upon the ratio of the hours they actually worked to two thousand eighty (2080), rounded to the nearest full day. For purposes of this section, hours worked shall include paid leave and all hours actually worked.
