Common use of Validity Period Clause in Contracts

Validity Period. Proposals shall remain valid for the period specified in the Data Sheet (DS no. 8), commencing on the submission deadline date also indicated in the Data Sheet (DS no. 21). A Proposal valid for a shorter period shall be immediately rejected by UNDP and rendered non-responsive. In exceptional circumstances, prior to the expiration of the proposal validity period, UNDP may request Proposers to extend the period of validity of their Proposals. The request and the responses shall be made in writing, and shall be considered integral to the Proposal.
