VARIATIONS IN BOTTOM ELEVATIONS. The Contractor shall plan and construct to the bottom elevations of footings, piles, drilled shafts, or cofferdams as shown on the drawings. When the bottom of a footing, pile, drilled shaft, or cofferdam is shown as an estimated or approximate elevation, the Contractor shall plan and construct to that elevation or to any deeper elevation required by the drawings or direction of the Project Manager. In the event the bottom elevation is lowered, the Contractor shall be entitled to additional payment in accordance with Sections 4.4 PRICE ADJUSTMENT and 4.5
