Vegetation Management. Goal E7: Where economically feasible, gradually work toward eliminating invasive and managing nuisance species, increasing biological diversity, and increasing public safety by reducing fire load and eliminating large predator habitat. Strategy E7-1: Develop and adopt by ordinance a vegetation management program that addresses public information, invasive species eradication, vegetation thinning practices, and metrics of success. Strategy E7-2: Encourage owners of property with Scotch broom and/or gorse and/or other noxious vegetation or other invasive species to eradicate same.
