Vehicle Use 5.2.1 Each Lessee may use Lease Vehicles leased hereunder in connection with its car rental business, including use by such Lesseeβs and its subsidiariesβ employees, directors, officers, agents, representatives and other business associates in their personal or professional capacities, subject to Sub-Clause 6.1 (
Vehicle Parking Lessee shall be entitled to use the number of Unreserved Parking Spaces and Reserved Parking Spaces specified in Paragraph 1.2(b) on those portions of the Common Areas designated from time to time by Lessor for parking. Lessee shall not use more parking spaces than said number. Said parking spaces shall be used for parking by vehicles no larger than full-size passenger automobiles or pick-up trucks, herein called "Permitted Size Vehicles." Vehicles other than Permitted Size Vehicles shall be parked and loaded or unloaded as directed by Lessor in the Rules and Regulations (as defined in Paragraph 40) issued by Lessor. (Also see Paragraph 2. (a) Lessee shall not permit or allow any vehicles that belong to or are controlled by Lessee or Lessee's employees, suppliers, shippers, customers, contractors or invitees to be loaded, unloaded, or parked in areas other than those designated by Lessor for such activities. (b) If Lessee permits or allows any of the prohibited activities described in this Paragraph 2.6, then Lessor shall have the right, without notice, in addition to such other rights and remedies that it may have, to remove or tow away the vehicle involved and charge the cost to Lessee, which cost shall be immediately payable upon demand by Lessor. (c) Lessor shall at the Commencement Date of this Lease, provide the parking facilities required by Applicable Law.
Private Vehicle Damage Where an employeeβs vehicle is damaged by a student at a worksite or an approved school function, or as a direct result of the employee being employed by the employer, the employer shall reimburse the employee the lesser of actual vehicle damage repair costs, or the cost of any deductible portion of insurance coverage on that vehicle up to a maximum of $600.
Personal Vehicles A. Employees who are directed by the Employer to use a personal vehicle for official state business shall do so in accordance with state fleet policies established by the Department of Budget and Management. When circumstances make it impractical for an employee to obtain a state vehicle on the day the vehicle will be used, such employee may request the vehicle at the end of the prior dayβs shift, and the appointing authority shall make reasonable accommodation, consistent with the efficient operation of the unit, to accommodate such request. If such request cannot be granted, the employee may use his/her own vehicle and be reimbursed at the full rate in accordance with state fleet policies.
Car 7.1 You will be provided you with a car of suitable age, make, model and specification during the continuance of your employment in accordance with the policy laid down by the Company from time to time and the Company shall pay all standing and running costs relating to it (including the cost of fuel for private mileage) but not any taxable benefit arising. You shall comply with all rules laid down by the Company in relation to Company vehicles, notify the Company immediately of any accident involving your car and of any charge brought against you for a motoring offence and, unless otherwise agreed, shall return the car to your place of work forthwith on termination of your employment.
Vehicle Bodily Injury combined single limit vehicle bodily injury and property damage liability - $500,000 each occurrence. Vehicles If an employee is required to use their own automobile in the performance of their duties, the Employer shall ensure that the position posting or advertisement shall include this requirement.
Vacations β Interruption (a) Where an employee's scheduled vacation is interrupted due to a serious illness which requires hospitalization and commenced before and continues into the scheduled vacation period, the period of such illness shall be considered sick leave provided the employee provides satisfactory documentation of the hospitalization. (b) Where a vacationing employee becomes seriously ill requiring her to be an inpatient in a hospital, the period of such illness shall be considered sick leave provided that the employee provides satisfactory documentation of the hospitalization. (c) The portion of the employee's vacation which is deemed to be sick leave under the above provisions will not be counted against the employee's vacation credits. (d) Where an employee's scheduled vacation is interrupted due to bereavement and jury and witness duty, the employee shall be entitled to bereavement leave and/or jury and witness duty in accordance with Articles 11.04 and 11.06. (e) The portion of the employee's vacation which is deemed to be bereavement and jury and witness duty leave under the above provisions will not be counted against the employee's vacation credits. (a) Employees shall indicate their vacation preference by March 30th of each year, and the Employer shall post the final vacation schedule by May 1st of each year. Choice of vacation period shall be based on seniority but shall be determined by the Director of Resident Care or designate having due regard to the proper operation of the Home. Vacation requests made after the posting of the vacation schedule shall be determined by the Director of Resident Care or designate having due regard to the proper operation of the Home on a first come first served basis, not on the basis of seniority. (b) Employees may request to have the weekend off prior to or following their vacation. The Employer will endeavour to schedule such request subject to the following: i) Where the weekend off is granted and the employee was otherwise scheduled to work on those days, such extra days will be deemed to be vacation days; ii) The employee must have such vacation entitlement available; and, iii) The weekend off being requested must be contiguous with (i.e. consecutive with) the employeeβs original vacation.
The Equipment 9.1 The British Council Equipment shall remain the property of the British Council and shall be used by the Supplier in the performance of the Services and for no other purposes. 9.2 The British Council shall be responsible for the repair or replacement of the British Council Equipment unless the need for repair or replacement is caused by the Supplierβs failure to comply with clause 9.3 or by the negligence or default of the Supplier. 9.3 The Supplier shall maintain all of the British Council Equipment in good and serviceable condition (fair wear and tear excepted) and shall only use the British Council Equipment in accordance with the British Council Equipment manufacturersβ recommendations. 9.4 The Supplier shall be liable for any loss of or damage to any of the British Council Equipment caused by the negligence or default of the Supplier. 9.5 The Supplier shall not in any circumstances have any right to refuse to return to the British Council any of the British Council Equipment and shall take steps necessary to ensure that the title of the British Council and the British Councilβs right to repossess the British Council Equipment are effectively brought to the attention of any third party dealing with any of the British Council Equipment.
Vehicle Maintenance 16.1 You must report to thl as soon as possible, where the oil is above or below the recommended level or the warning indication light is illuminated. 16.2 You must add water/coolant to the cooling system and an appropriate Australian Society of Automotive Engineers rated oil for petrol or diesel powered vehicles (as applicable) to the engine if the indicator level is below minimum. 16.3 You agree to maintain the Vehicle in these conditions and acknowledge that any mechanical damage occasioned as a result of Your failure to maintain the Vehicle in accordance with this clause must be paid by You.
