Personal Vehicles. A. Employees who are directed by the Employer to use a personal vehicle for official state business shall do so in accordance with state fleet policies established by the Department of Budget and Management. When circumstances make it impractical for an employee to obtain a state vehicle on the day the vehicle will be used, such employee may request the vehicle at the end of the prior day’s shift, and the appointing authority shall make reasonable accommodation, consistent with the efficient operation of the unit, to accommodate such request. If such request cannot be granted, the employee may use his/her own vehicle and be reimbursed at the full rate in accordance with state fleet policies.
Personal Vehicles. Air Exception drivers will use the Employer’s vehicles whenever possible. Air Exception drivers who would happen to use their personal automobiles shall be reimbursed at the IRS limit applicable per mile for all miles driven to perform the air driving work in addition to their air driver wages. When an employee uses his/her their own vehicle in the service of the Employer and is involved in an accident, the Employer shall be responsible for the damages to both the employee’s vehicle and to the other person’s vehicle and/or property, and will provide liability insurance coverage.
Personal Vehicles. Employees shall not be required to haul supplies or transport students in their personal vehicles in the course of their duties for the District. Employees may use their personal vehicles on a daily basis to accomplish assigned duties (such as transportation between split stations). Reimbursement of vehicle mileage shall be at the federal mileage reimbursement, and will change whenever the federal mileage reimbursement rate changes. Mileage driven between July 1 and September 30 must be submitted for reimbursement by October 15. Mileage driven between October 1 and December 31 must be submitted for reimbursement by January 15. Mileage driven between January 1 and March 31 must be submitted for reimbursement by April 15. Mileage driven between April 1 and June 30 must be submitted for reimbursement by July 15.
Personal Vehicles. Employees who are required to use their personal vehicles for travel on behalf of the District during on-duty time shall be reimbursed by the District. The District may require as a condition for reimbursement that the employee provide a certificate of insurance showing that the employee has basic liability coverage equal to or greater than minimum amounts required by District policy or regulation. Reimbursement shall be at the rate established by the Internal Revenue Service.
Personal Vehicles. (a) Employees who are required to provide a vehicle to conduct WSIB business, and who are not participating in the Vehicle Allowance Program but are required for “in-office” days (example: training) will be reimbursed for mileage & parking when travelling to the home office for one occurrence per week. • It is understood that other arrangements may be entered into between the parties on a local level with respect to reimbursement for travel costs.
Personal Vehicles. Hourly rated employees who provide their own transportation to a job site will be compensated as follows:
Personal Vehicles. A. When a Health District employee is required to utilize a private vehicle for District purposes, the employee shall receive monthly reimbursement at the established IRS mileage rate for each mile driven on behalf of the District. Reimbursement shall be based upon verification of miles driven in accordance with District policies and procedures. In addition, each month the employee shall receive an allowance of $50.00 for 200 or more miles driven during the calendar month.
Personal Vehicles. An employee will not be required to use his/her personal vehicle for District business unless such use is a part of the employee’s regular employment. Any employee required to use a personal vehicle will be reimbursed for such use in accordance with the District’s mileage and per diem policy and is advised that the use of personal vehicle is at the employee’s risk.
Personal Vehicles. Employees will be paid thirty-one cents ($.31) per mile for use of personal cars for Township business when authorized by the Public Safety Director/Chief Law Enforcement Officer. This proposal will not apply if a police vehicle is made available to the Employee or if the Employee rejects the use of the police vehicle so made available. Mileage allowance will not apply to travel to and from the basic police training academies.
