Vehicle Damage. 22.1 Subject to these Terms and Conditions, if You or any Authorised Driver has an Accident or if the Vehicle is stolen We will indemnify You for the theft, any Damage or Third Party Loss but for each Accident or theft You must pay up to the Damage Excess according to the Liability Reduction Option You have chosen and which is shown on the Rental Agreement, unless We agree that:
(a) You were not at fault; and
(b) the other party was insured and their insurance company accepts liability.
22.2 The Damage Excess payable under clause 22.1 will be deducted from the Liability Deposit :
(a) for single vehicle Accidents, after a repairer's estimate or tax invoice verifying the amount charged for Damage has been sent to You;
(b) if the Vehicle has been stolen, after We have made reasonable enquiries and in Our opinion it is unlikely the Vehicle will be recovered; and
(c) for Accidents in which there is also Third Party Loss, after:
(i) a reasonable estimate of the Third Party Loss has been made;
(ii) a repairer's estimate or tax invoice verifying the amount charged for Damage has been obtained; and
(iii) all documents verifying the Third Party Loss and Damage have been sent to You, unless You have expressly authorised the charge at an earlier time.
Vehicle Damage. The insurance applies to damage caused by: - traffic accident - other external accident - intentional damage by a third party. The insurance does not cover: - damage caused from inside the vehicle, such as mice causing damage to the vehicle - damage due to wear and tear, rust, corrosion, cold, damp or moisture and lack of maintenance - costs which can be reimbursed under the vehicle damage guarantee - damage to a part of the vehicle caused by a defect in design, manufacture, or materials.
Vehicle Damage. Liability Reduction Options Bronze Package
(a) Bronze package is included in the daily rental rate;
(b) Subject to these Terms and Conditions, Your maximum liability in the event of an Accident or theft is AUD $5,000.00;
(c) Cover for windscreen or tyre damage is excluded under this option;
(d) Cover for awning and window damage is excluded;
(e) Cover for Overhead Damage and Underbody Damage is included under this option;
(f) The Damage Cover Exclusions in clause 23 apply.
(g) Cost – Hi Top Campervans = AUD $26.00 per day (Maximum payable per rental is AUD $1,300.00);
(h) Cost – all other vehicles = AUD $30.00 per day (Maximum payable per rental is AUD $1,500.00);
(i) Subject to these Terms and Conditions, Your maximum liability in the event of an Accident or theft is AUD $2,000.00;
(j) Cover for windscreen or tyre damage is excluded under this option;
(k) Cover for awning and window damage is excluded;
(l) Cover for Overhead Damage and Underbody Damage is included under this option;
(m) The Damage Cover Exclusions in clause 23 apply.
(n) Cost – Hi Top Campervans = AUD $45.00 per day (Maximum payable per rental is AUD $2,250.00);
(o) Cost – all other vehicles = AUD $58.00 per day (Maximum payable per rental is AUD $2,900.00)
(p) Subject to these Terms and Conditions this package reduces liability in the event of an Accident or theft to a maximum of $250 and includes 1x Windscreen and 2 Tyre replacements;
(q) Cover for Single Vehicle Rollover is included under this option;
(r) Cover for awning and window damage is excluded;
(s) Cover for Overhead Damage and Underbody Damage is included under this option;
(t) The Damage Cover Exclusions in clause 23 apply.
Vehicle Damage. 11.1 The vehicle is insured for Third Party Vehicle and Property Damage;
11.2 Damage includes any and all Damage to third party property, Damage to the rented Vehicle including tyres, towing and recovery costs, theft, fire, break in or vandalism. The costs of any Damage will include the costs of repairing the Damage, and the costs of the daily rental rate for the period the vehicle is being repaired.
11.3 You are responsible for any Damage incurred whilst the Vehicle is in Your possession;
11.4 You understand that:
a) You must pay the cost of any Damage repair (for each claim) up to the excess stated in the Rental Agreement and this excess doubles in case of any Damage incurred on unsealed roads;
b) Your excess may be reduced by taking out one of TCC’s Liability Reduction Options.
11.5 You will be liable to for the total cost of any Damage and Liability Reduction is void if:
a) You breach any terms of this agreement, and that breach is the cause of or contributes to the relevant Damage;
11.6 In the event of Damage subject to clause 11.5, TCC is autorised to deduct the amount due from your Credit Card at any time.
Vehicle Damage. 21.10.1 The District shall reimburse a unit member for damage to or theft of parts from the unit member's personal and private vehicle while said vehicle is on District property, subject to all of the following:
21.10.1.1 The financial limit of the District's responsibilities shall be $400 or the amount of the unit member's deductible portion of his/her comprehensive insurance, whichever is less.
21.10.1.2 The damage must have occurred while the vehicle was parked and unattended by the unit member on District property and in the parking area assigned by the site administrator.
21.10.1.3 The damage must have occurred during the unit member's professional day or during the time the unit member was providing assigned or approved voluntary supervision for the District and outside of the professional day of the unit member.
21.10.1.4 The unit member must file an official report with the local Office of the Los Angeles County Sheriff within ten (10) working days of the incident. The report must describe the actual damage.
21.10.1.5 The unit member must secure two (2) estimates of repair and the work described on the repair estimates must correspond to the description in the report to the sheriff.
21.10.1.6 The unit member must supply the District with a copy of the report to the sheriff and the two (2) estimates within twenty (20) working days of the incident. The District's responsibility shall not exceed the lower of the two (2) estimates.
21.10.1.7 The unit member must provide the District with a signed affidavit stating that the damage occurred as specified in Section 21.10.1.3 above within twenty (20) working days of the incident.
21.10.1.8 The unit member must sign an agreement with the District to file charges against those persons causing the damage and to recover damage in court should those causing the damage be identified. The unit member must reimburse to the District any damages recovered, to the extent of payment made by the District.
21.10.1.9 The unit member must agree to return any reimbursement paid by the District should the unit member fail to fully and faithfully comply with any of the above.
Vehicle Damage. Liability Reduction Options Bronze Package
(a) Bronze package is included in the daily rental rate;
(b) Subject to these Terms and Conditions, Your maximum liability in the event of an Accident or theft is $6,000.00;
(c) Cover for windscreen or tyre damage is excluded under this option;
(d) Cover for Overhead Damage and Underbody Damage is included under this option;
(e) The Damage Cover Exclusions in clause 24 apply.
(f) Cost – Hi Top Campervans = $26.00 per day (Maximum premium payable per rental: $1,250.00);
(g) Cost – all other vehicles = $30.00 per day (Maximum premium payable per rental: $1,500.00);
(h) Subject to these Terms and Conditions, Your maximum liability in the event of an Accident or theft is $2,000.00;
(i) Cover for windscreen or tyre damage is excluded under this option;
(j) Cover for Overhead Damage and Underbody Damage is included under this option;
(k) The Damage Cover Exclusions in clause 24 apply.
(l) Cost – Hi Top Campervans = $45.00 per day (Maximum premium payable per rental: $2,200.00);
(m) Cost – all other vehicles = $65.00 per day (Maximum premium payable per rental: $2,600.00);
(n) Subject to these Terms and Conditions this package reduces liability in the event of an Accident or theft to NIL ($0) and includes 1x Windscreen and 2 Tyre replacements;
(o) Cover for Overhead Damage and Underbody Damage is included under this option;
(p) The Damage Cover Exclusions in clause 24 apply.
Vehicle Damage. 39 Acts of damage to a vehicle parked in the school setting shall be covered by the individual's 40 insurance policy. When an employee's vehicle is damaged in a designated work parking area or 41 within the course of an employee’s job responsibilities by vandalism, which includes a reportable 42 hit-and-run incident, the District will reimburse the amount of the deductible to a maximum of 43 $2,000. Employees who have vehicles which are not covered by insurance shall receive the same 44 benefit. Damage to an employee's vehicle caused by District negligence will be fully covered per 45 the District’s coverage agreement in force at the time of the incident.
Vehicle Damage. If an employee's vehicle is damaged while on school district property, the employee will be reimbursed for the damage, not to exceed five hundred ($500) dollars when it is determined that the damage was caused on School Board property. Such determination may be made by either a School Resource Officer, a School Security Specialist, or a Special Investigative Unit Investigator (as determined by the Superintendent), witness testimony, or apprehension of the person(s) responsible for the damage.
Vehicle Damage. In the event of damage to an employee’s vehicle during the authorized use of her/his automobile in the performance of school duties, the Board shall reimburse to the employee the deductible that the employee paid under her/his automobile insurance policy.

The insurance does not cover: • damage caused from inside the vehicle, such as mice causing damage to the vehicle • damage due to wear and tear, rust, corrosion, cold, damp or moisture and lack of maintenance • costs which can be reimbursed under the vehicle damage guarantee • damage to a part of the vehicle caused by a defect in design, manufacture, or materials. • The vehicle must not be used in conditions which place abnormal stress on the vehicle. • The maximum load and maximum towing capacity of the vehicle must not be exceeded.
