Voice Connectivity Service. The Supplier shall provide a range of Voice Connectivity Service options supporting voice services, including as a minimum (but not necessarily limited to): PSTN Line ISDN 2e ISDN30 SIP (over existing connections) SIP Trunk Cards The Voice Connectivity Services shall conform to the relevant standards identified in the Supplier Service Description. The Voice Connectivity Services shall provide a range of appropriate bandwidths and channels. The Supplier shall be able to provide service features, relating to the Voice Connectivity Services, as listed in the Supplier’s entries in the Service Catalogue and described in the Supplier’s Service Description. The Supplier shall provide any structural or civil engineering works necessary for its provision of the Voice Connectivity Service. ISDN30 options shall include both DASSII and Q931. SIP options shall include G711 (uncompressed high quality voice) and G729 (compressed for bandwidth optimisation) codecs. SIP provision through the Voice Connectivity Service is limited to gateways and controllers. Any physical connectivity that may be required for the SIP services may be by means of an existing connection or shall be provided by means of the Data Access Service.
