  • Conversion of Sick Leave 30 A. Based upon accrual as of July 1 each fiscal year, employees shall be allowed 31 to convert sick leave in accordance with the following schedule:

Upon the adoption of a proposal to convert the Trust from a "closed-end company" to an "open-end company" as those terms are defined by the 1940 Act and the necessary amendments to this Declaration to permit such a conversion of the Trust's outstanding Shares entitled to vote, the Trust shall, upon complying with any requirements of the 1940 Act and state law, become an "open-end" investment company. Such affirmative vote or consent shall be in addition to the vote or consent of the holders of the Shares otherwise required by law, or any agreement between the Trust and any national securities exchange.

  • Conversion of Hours where an employee is granted vacation pursuant to this article, and where the regularly scheduled workday is greater than seven hours per day, the annual vacation entitlement shall be converted to hours on the basis of a seven-hour day and deducted accordingly.

  • Sick Leave Conversion On January 1 of each year, an employee may convert up to a maximum of 30 hours accumulated sick leave at fifty percent (50%) cash value for the sole purpose of reimbursing the employee for medical costs. This conversion is subject to the following:

  • Continuation of Optional Coverages During Unpaid Leave or Layoff An employee who takes an unpaid leave of absence or who is laid off may discontinue premium payments on optional policies during the period of leave or layoff. If the employee returns within one (1) year, the employee shall be permitted to pick up all optionals held prior to the leave or layoff. For purposes of reinstating such optional coverages, the following limitations shall be applicable. For the first twenty-four (24) months of long-term disability coverage after such a period of leave or layoff during which long-term disability coverage was discontinued, any such disability coverage shall exclude coverage for pre-existing conditions. For disability purposes, a pre-existing condition is defined as any disability which is caused by, or results from, any injury, sickness or pregnancy which occurred, was diagnosed, or for which medical care was received during the period of leave or layoff. In addition, any pre-existing condition limitations that would have been in effect under the policy but for the discontinuance of coverage shall continue to apply as provided in the policy. The limitations set forth above do not apply to leaves that qualify under the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA).

  • Currency Conversion (a) For the purpose of, or pending the discharge of, any of the Secured Liabilities the Security Agent may convert any moneys received or recovered by the Security Agent from one currency to another, at a market rate of exchange.

  • Currency Conversions If you pay for goods and services in a currency other than the Denominated Currency, the amount payable will be converted at the relevant Card Network's reference exchange rate at the clearing time of the Card Transaction, and a foreign exchange fee will apply.   • Early Redemption and Exercise of Options 10.01 If the Issuer intends (other than consequent upon an Issuer Event of Default) to redeem all or any of the Covered Bonds prior to their stated maturity date or to exercise any other option under the Conditions, it shall, not less than 14 days prior to the latest date for the publication of the notice of redemption or of exercise of the Issuer’s option required to be given to the Holders of any Covered Bonds, give written notice of such intention to the Bond Trustee and the Issuing and Paying Agent or, in the case of Registered Covered Bonds, the Registrar (copied to the Issuing and Paying Agent) stating the date on which such Covered Bonds are to be redeemed or such option is to be exercised.
