Casual Seniority List showing a statement of the total of hours worked by the Casual Employee up to and including December 31st. A copy of each list shall be posted on the Union bulletin board between January 1st and February 28th of the following year. The lists shall be posted for a period of thirty (30) days during which time any questions as to the accuracy of the lists may be forwarded to the Employer in writing, failing which the lists shall be deemed to be accurate and the Employer shall be entitled to rely on the list as posted or corrected. Notwithstanding the above, decisions premised on a Casual Employee’s seniority will be based on the Casual Employee’s seniority at that point in time.

Casual Seniority List. The Employer shall maintain a list for casual employees showing the date upon which each employee's service commenced and the total number of hours worked since the service commencement date. An up-to-date list shall be sent to the Union and posted on all bulletin boards in January of each year at the same time as the Seniority List outlined in article 16.1.

Casual Seniority List. (a) All casual employees shall accrue seniority by hours worked upon completion of 480 hours of work or have been employed by the City for six (6) months from date of hire. (b) A casual seniority list shall be updated and printed every three (3) months. (c) For job postings the seniority date will be determined by hours worked up to the posting’s closing date. (d) An employee on the casual seniority list shall not have seniority preference over an employee on the regular seniority list. (e) A casual employee who becomes a regular employee shall have his casual hours prorated to that of a full-time employee and be given a seniority date on the regular seniority list that is backdated from the date of becoming a regular employee. (f) An employee who is placed on the regular seniority list and who is subsequently placed on the casual callout list shall maintain his regular seniority date. (g) Casual employees shall be listed by department and shall only have preference for casual work within one (1) department. Departments shall be RCMP, Recreation, City Hall, Public Works and Fire Rescue. (h) A casual employee is not used where work warrants a regular position.
Casual Seniority List. The Employer shall maintain a seniority list, separate from the Regular Employees seniority list, of casual employees which shall be supplied to the Union upon request. Such employees shall be paid ninety ($0.90) cents per straight time hour worked in lieu of benefits.

(b) Within two weeks of each adjustment date the Employer shall send to the senior union official a revised copy: (2) of the master casual seniority list; and of each classification registry maintained by the facility.
Casual Seniority List. ‌ (a) The casual employee seniority list shall be revised and updated every six (6) months as of the last date of the payroll period immediately prior to April 1st, and October 1st in each year. The seniority of each casual employee thus determined shall be entered in descending order of the most hours worked to the least. The employer shall send to the Local Union designate a revised copy of the casual seniority list. (b) Upon return to work, casual employees will be credited with seniority hours for the period of time during which the employee was in receipt of wage-loss benefits from the WCB under Sections 29 or 30 of the Workers' Compensation Act. The number of hours credited shall be based on the employee's average weekly straight-time hours paid over the one-half (½) payroll year preceding the employee's leave of absence due to compensable illness or injury. Where the employee has been employed for less than one- half (½) payroll year, straight-time paid hours shall be based on the employee's average weekly straight-time hours paid since date of hire.
