VOLUNTARY PAID DUTY ASSIGNMENTS. 19.1 The rates payable to all ranks for authorized voluntary paid duty assignments shall be one and one half (1-1/2) times the normal hourly rate of pay for each rank with a prevailing minimum rate of three (3) hours for any period of assignment. 19.2 Authorized Voluntary Duty is that duty as specifically authorized by the Chief, or a Deputy Chief, or the Xxxxxxxx Police Service and as required by the policy of the Workers' Compensation Act of Ontario; is under the supervision of the regular police supervisor and further, the members are subject to the Code of Discipline as contained in the Regulations to the Police Services Act, Ontario.
