Common use of Voluntary Participating Teacher Clause in Contracts

Voluntary Participating Teacher. 19.8.1 Voluntary Participating Teachers will be accepted only when sufficient PAR funds are available. 19.8.2 A Voluntary Participating Teacher is a teacher with permanent status who volunteers to participate in the PAR program. The purpose of participation in the PAR program for the Voluntary Participating Teacher is for peer assistance only and the Consulting Teacher shall not participate in a performance review of the Voluntary Participating Teacher. The Voluntary Participating Teacher may terminate his or her participation in the PAR program at any time. 19.8.3 All communication between the Consulting Teacher and a Voluntary Participating Teacher shall be confidential. All documents relating to the Voluntary Participating Teacher’s participation in the PAR program are the property of the Voluntary Participating Teacher so long as participation continues to be voluntary. 19.8.4 Voluntary Participating Teachers will be assigned a Consulting Teacher by the Joint Committee.
