Common use of Waste Disposal Clause in Contracts

Waste Disposal. (a) All normal trash and waste (i.e., waste that does not require special handling pursuant to subparagraph (b) below) shall be disposed of through the janitorial service. (b) Tenant shall be responsible for the removal and disposal of any waste deemed by any governmental authority having jurisdiction over the matter to be hazardous or infectious waste or waste requiring special handling, such removal and disposal to be in accordance with any and all applicable governmental rules, regulations, codes, orders or requirements. Tenant agrees to separate and xxxx appropriately all waste to be removed and disposed of through the janitorial service pursuant to (a) above and hazardous, infectious or special waste to be removed and disposed of by Tenant pursuant to this subparagraph (b). Tenant hereby indemnifies and holds harmless Landlord from and against any loss, claims, demands, damage or injury Landlord may suffer or sustain as a result of Tenant’s failure to comply with the provisions of this subparagraph (b).
