Wasted Journey. Charges for wasted journeys shall be calculated in accordance with the Pricing at Annex J and must be authorised by the appropriate Authorised Xxxxxxxx. Wasted Journey charges shall be claimable where notification of cancellation/postponement of a task is provided within 4 hours of the time/date of collection indicated in the tasking document. The wasted journey surcharge cannot be claimed in tandem with the Cancellation/Postponement surcharge.

  • Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee The Employer and the Union recognize the role of the joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee in promoting a safe and healthful workplace. The parties agree that a Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee shall be established for each Employer covered by this Collective Agreement. The Committee shall govern itself in accordance with the provisions of the Industrial Health and Safety Regulations made pursuant to the Workers’ Compensation Act. The Committee shall be as between the Employer and the Union, with equal representation, and with each party appointing its own representatives. Representatives of the Union shall be chosen by the Union membership or appointed by the Union. All minutes of the meetings of the Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committee will be recorded in a mutually agreeable format and will be sent to the Union. The Union further agrees to actively pursue with the other Health Care Unions a Joint Union Committee for the purposes of this Article. The Employer agrees to provide or cause to be provided to Employer members of the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee adequate training and orientation to the duties and responsibilities of committee members to allow the incumbents to fulfil those duties competently.   • Non-Emergency Transportation Routine medical transportation to and from Medicaid-covered scheduled medical appointments is covered by the non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) broker Medicaid program. This includes transportation via multi-passenger van services and common carriers such as public railways, buses, cabs, airlines, ambulance as appropriate, and private vehicle transportation by individuals. The NEMT broker must approve ambulance, multi-passenger van services, and transportation by common carriers. The MCO must inform enrollees of how to access non-emergency transportation as appropriate.

  • Military Reserve Training In accordance with State and Federal laws, any employee who is a member of any reserve component of the military forces of the United States required by official military orders or related authority to attend Military Reserve Training shall receive full wages at their current base pay rate for the period of the active duty required for such training not to exceed fifteen (15) days per calendar year.
