Common use of Water Damage Clause in Contracts

Water Damage. We do not pay for loss which results from the following: a. flood, surface water, waves, tidal water, overflow of a body of water, or spray, all whether driven by wind or not; b. water which backs up through or overflows from sewers, drains, or sumps; or c. water below the surface of the ground. This includes water which exerts pressure on, or seeps or leaks through or into a building, sidewalk, driveway, foundation, swimming pool, or other structure.
