Common use of Weather-Related Excusable Delay Clause in Contracts

Weather-Related Excusable Delay. The contract price shall not be increased and the completion time shall not be extended for normal bad weather or any weather that is reasonably foreseeable at the time of entering into the contract. The time for completion as stated in the Contract Documents includes due allowance for calendar days on which Work cannot be performed out of doors. Contractor acknowledges that it may lose days due to weather conditions. County Project Manager must be notified via email by Contractor within 24-hours of the notification for the weather delay. Acknowledgment of the notification shall be provided by County Project Manager. Contract time may be extended at no cost to County if all of the following criteria are met as established by Contractor:
