Weekend Standby Pay for Detectives. A Detective assigned to standby duty shall be compensated for one hour at the overtime premium for each day assigned. The following conditions would apply: • Standby will be 0700-0800 on the day(s) assigned • There will be no duplicating or pyramiding of overtime, however, upon being called out, the detective will receive a minimum of two (2) hours of overtime as specified in Section 7.5. The standby duty program may be terminated at any time at the discretion of the Chief of Police.
