Common use of Widow Benefits Clause in Contracts

Widow Benefits. For active employees only, benefit coverages up to one (1) year from the date of death or age 65 (whichever comes first). In the event that a Firefighter dies in the line of duty, his/her widow(er) will receive benefits until the Firefighter would have reached age 65 or the widow(er) remarries, whichever occurs first.
