Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance. The County shall pay the premium for a $25,000 life insurance policy and a $25,000 AD&D insurance policy for each employee in the unit.

The City will pay the premiums for life insurance coverage amounts of $25,000 for basic life and $25,000 for accidental death and dismemberment policies.

Employees over age 65 will receive the life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment insurance benefits, if, and to the extent, provided by the City's insurance policies. All insurance provided under this section shall be subject to all provisions contained in the insurance policies and all rules and regulations of the insurance carrier.
