Wildland-Urban Interface Building Codes. (WUI Codes) All Approved Projects under this program that are located in a CAL FIRE high fire zone must comply with applicable WUI codes, found in Title 24, Chapter 7a of the California Building Code, which offer specific material, design and construction standards to maximize ignition- resistance.
