With qualifications for and requirements. of a job being met by the applicant, the employee having the greatest seniority will be given the promotion or transfer to the higher paid job within the scope of this agreement. Should the senior applicant not be selected to fill the vacancy, the Company will discuss the reasons with the Bargaining Unit.
