Common use of Without Pay Clause in Contracts

Without Pay. A leave of absence without pay may be granted to an employee when appearing before a court or other legally constituted body in a matter in which an employee is a party. Such instances include, but are not limited to, criminal or civil cases, traffic court, divorce proceedings, custody or appearing as directed as parent or guardian of juveniles.
