Work at a Lower Rate. If a non-exempt employee is required to work overtime in a position with a lower rate of pay, the employee's overtime is computed at the employee's straight rate unless the employee volunteers for overtime work in a position at a lower rate of pay then the overtime is computed at the lower rate.
