Common use of Work Break Clause in Contracts

Work Break. All Employees shall be entitled to one fifteen (15) minute work break in each half day worked, or in any overtime work period in excess of two (2) hours. Such work break shall be taken at the work site and the time of such break shall be approved by the immediate supervisor of each Employee. The work break shall be considered part of a work hour for the purposes of the preceding paragraphs.

All Employees shall be entitled to granted one fifteen (15) minute work break in near the middle of each half day worked, or in any overtime four (4) consecutive hour work period in excess except for documented and unusual instances of two (2) hoursextreme work pressures demanding immediate attention. Such Unused work break breaks shall not be taken accumulated nor shall work breaks be scheduled at the work site and the time of such break shall be approved by the immediate supervisor of each Employee. The work break shall be considered part beginning or end of a work hour for the purposes of the preceding paragraphsshift.
