Work in Excess of Twelve Hours in a Work Day. Double the regular rate of pay shall be paid for all hours worked over twelve (12) in a work day. 12-hour shifts – All hours worked outside of the employee’s regularly assigned schedule shift will be paid at double the regular rate of pay except that one and one- half (1-1/2) times the regular rate of pay will be paid for the first day of rest.

  • WORKING TEST PERIOD Section One. The Working Test Period shall be deemed an extension of the examination process. Therefore, a determination of unsatisfactory performance during a Working Test Period shall be tantamount to a failure of the competitive exam.

  • Hours Worked For the purpose of computing the number of hours worked, all time during which an employee is in paid status shall be construed as hours worked.

  • Consecutive Hours of Work The daily hours of work for each employee shall be consecutive.
