Common use of Work Orders for Winter Maintenance Clause in Contracts

Work Orders for Winter Maintenance. Either party, at its own discretion, may submit an annual Work Order for winter maintenance operations. Any such annual Work Order shall include a plan identifying the routes on which the requesting party desires winter maintenance services to be performed. Unless otherwise notified by the requesting party, the performing party will conduct winter maintenance operations on the roads and streets identified in the plan at those times the performing party has mobilized winter operations in the general area. Provided an annual Work Order request has been submitted by the requesting party and accepted by the performing party, individual Work Order requests will not be required to initiate a response to snow and ice events.
