WORK TO BE PERFORMED. The Coroner and the Independent Contractor agree that the Independent Contractor will be placed on an “On Call” list. From this list the Coroner shall appoint an independent contractor that shall temporarily perform the duties of the Coroner in his absence. In the absence of the Coroner, the Independent Contractor shall perform the statutory duties of the Coroner.
