Common use of Workers’ Compensation Insurance Clause in Contracts

Workers’ Compensation Insurance. A policy of worker’s compensation insurance in such amount as will fully comply with the laws of the State of California and which shall indemnify, insure and provide legal defense for both the Contractor and the City against any loss, claim or damage arising from any injuries or occupational diseases occurring to any worker employed by or any persons retained by the Contractor in the course of carrying out the work or services contemplated in this Agreement.

Workers’ Compensation Insurance. A policy of worker’s compensation insurance in such amount as will fully comply with the laws of the State of California and which shall indemnify, insure and provide legal defense for both the Contractor and the City Consultant against any loss, claim or damage arising from any injuries or occupational diseases occurring to any worker employed by or any persons retained by the Contractor Consultant in the course of carrying out the work or services contemplated in this Agreement.

A policy of worker’s Worker's compensation insurance in such amount as will fully to the extent necessary to comply with the all applicable laws of the State of California and which shall indemnify, insure and provide legal defense for both or the Contractor and regulations of any governmental body or authority having jurisdiction over the City against any loss, claim or damage arising from any injuries or occupational diseases occurring to any worker employed by or any persons retained by the Contractor in the course of carrying out the work or services contemplated in this AgreementProject.

A policy of worker’s workers’ compensation insurance in such amount as will fully comply with the laws of the State of California and which shall indemnify, insure and provide legal defense for both the Contractor and the City against any loss, claim or damage arising from any injuries or occupational diseases occurring to any worker employed by or any persons retained by the Contractor in the course of carrying out the work or services contemplated in this Agreement. The Contractor’s liability limits shall be no less than $1,000,000 per accident or disease.
