Working Before and After. In order to receive pay for a holiday, an employee shall work no less than thirty (30) days prior to the holiday and shall work the last scheduled work-day before and the first scheduled work-day after such holiday. This section shall not apply when there is proven paid illness or paid injury or when a holiday falls within an employee's paid vacation.
