Xxxxx in Booking and Intake Processes. If a Person with an Auditory Disability has requested a Qualified Interpreter or responded to LCSO’s required inquiry as to whether he or she wants a Qualified Interpreter, any booking or intake processes that rely on communication must be delayed until a Qualified Interpreter is present. If no Qualified Interpreter can be found to provide services within three (3) hours of the initial attempt, Personnel shall make their best efforts to effectively communicate with the Person with an Auditory Disability, and shall obtain the services of a Qualified Interpreter no later than twelve (12) hours of initial booking.

Xxxxx in Booking and Intake Processes. If a Person with an Auditory Disability has requested a Qualified Interpreter or has responded in the affirmative to Personnel’s inquiry as to whether a Qualified Interpreter is requested using Attachment A as required by this Agreement, or if Personnel learns from any other means that such Person seeks the services of a Qualified Interpreter, Personnel must delay any booking or intake processes that rely on communication until Personnel have obtained the type of Qualified Interpreter requested. If no Qualified Interpreter can be found to provide services within three (3) hours of the initial attempt, Personnel shall make their best efforts to effectively communicate with the Person with an Auditory Disability and will make reasonable efforts to obtain the services of a Qualified Interpreter within a reasonable time frame after initial booking. During any such delays, Personnel should provide VRI for simple communications with the Person with an Auditory Disability in accordance with paragraph 11, if requested and reasonably available. If a Person with an Auditory Disability makes a request for a different Auxiliary Aid or Service, Personnel will reasonably accommodate that request. Upon reasonable request, Personnel shall notify the Person with an Auditory Disability of Personnel’s efforts to obtain a Qualified Interpreter, including when such a Qualified Interpreter is expected to arrive.

NewPhone may also order OC-TS when a specified conversion time is requested. OC-TS is a chargeable option for any coordinated order and is billed in addition to the OC charge. An Engineering Information (EI) document can be ordered as a chargeable option. The EI document provides Loop Make-Up information which is similar to the information normally provided in a Design Layout Record (DLR). Upon issuance of a non-coordinated order in the service order system, XX0 Xxxxx will be activated on the due date in the same manner and time frames that BellSouth normally activates POTS-type Loops for its customers.
