Common use of Xxxxx Xxxxxxx School Academic Year Staff Clause in Contracts

Xxxxx Xxxxxxx School Academic Year Staff. a. Xxxxx Xxxxxxx School staff members on academic year contracts shall abide by the calendar established for the Xxxxx Xxxxxxx School. b. Xxxxx Xxxxxxx School academic year staff members shall receive all state holidays and personal days in this period in accordance with the provisions of Article XVII of the Agreement. c. The base salary for Xxxxx Xxxxxxx School academic year staff members shall be 80% of the calendar year equivalent for comparably graded positions as determined herein. Said staff members shall be compensated at the rate of their base salary divided by 180 for each day worked in excess of 180. d. Xxxxx Xxxxxxx School academic year staff members shall accrue sick leave at the rate of 80% of the yearly rate listed in Article XVII of the Agreement (Sick Leave). e. Xxxxx Xxxxxxx School academic year PSA staff members follow the HBS calendar and are not required to work during scheduled school vacation periods. Such school vacation periods are considered HBS staff employee “vacation” periods and are not counted in the 180 academic year school days. HBS staff do not accrue and are not eligible for any additional vacation time off.
