Xxxxxxxxx B. Employees who have occupational exposure to blood and other body fluids shall be offered Hepatitis B vaccine and vaccination series at the Employer’s expense. Employees who are subject to occupational exposure shall be offered the vaccine and vaccination series within ten (10) working days of initial assignment to a position which involves such exposure unless the employee has previously received the complete Hepatitis B vaccination series antibody testing has revealed that the employee is immune, or the vaccine is contraindicated for medical reasons from the date of their initial hire. An employee who is subject to occupational exposure to blood and other body fluids may request the University to furnish the individual with the vaccination series at the Employer’s expense.
